ATREE-Call for Internship in Conservation Genetics

Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and Environment  (ATREE) Srirampura, Bangalore invites applications for the  following program.

Program:
Internship

Project:
DST-funded project on Evolutionary bio-geography and  population genetics of Rhododendron spp. 

Duration:
 5-6 months and later can be extended.

Responsibilities:

• The intern will assist in DNA extraction, PCR and other  down-stream processing. 
• The intern will learn molecular phylogenetics and  bio-geographic analyses and share authorship in the  paper(s).

Qualification:
BSc/MSc/BTech/MTech in Life sciences.
Basic knowledge of DNA extraction and PCR is preferred.
