Essential Qualification
a) Ist Class M.Sc / Master degree in related discipline (Bio-Technology/Bio-Chemistry/Molecular Biology).
b) 6 years research/teaching experience OR 2 years experience in research/teaching in case of candidates possessing Ph.D.
Requirement of Ist Class in M.Sc. is relaxable in the case of candidates possessing Ph. D. or equivalent degree in related subject.
Desirable:
Research experience in area of non-communicable diseases and public health as evidenced by scientific publications.
Age:
Below 45 year as on 19.12.2007. Relaxation is allowed to SC/ST/OBC/PH and departmental candidates in accordance with Govt. of India rules in force.
Payscale:
Rs. 10000-325-15200 plus usual allowances.
