Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi will be conducting the 13th All India Entrance Examination (AIEEA) for admissions to 15% of the seats in 39 State Agricultural Universities, CAU, Imphal, NDRI (all seats) and Central Universities having Agriculture faculty namely BHU, Viswa Bharti and Nagaland University for U.G. Degree (B.Sc./B.Tech./B.F.Sc. etc.) in the subjects of Agriculture, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Forestry, Food Science. The applicants should be Indian nationals.
Important Dates of AIEEA 2008:
- Dates for purchase of Information Bulletin with Application Forms: 21.01.2008 to 07.03.2008
- Last date of receipt of filled Application Forms in ICAR (Non-remote areas): 10.03.2008.
- Last date of receipt of filled Application Forms in ICAR from remote areas: 17.03.2008.
- Date and Time of the Examination: 19.04.2008 (Saturday) 10.00 – 12.30 hours at 39 Centres).
Age Eligibility:
17-23 years as on December 31, 2008 (DOB include 1.1.1986 to 01.01.1992).
AIEEA 2008 Application Form: Information Bulletin with Application forms can be purchased till 7.3.2008 (Friday) against cash payment of Rs. 400/- + Rs. 25/- (handling charges) for General, OBC and UPS categories and Rs. 200/- + Rs. 25/- (handling charges) for S.C/S.T/P.H categories Offices of the Registrars of 38 Universities and branches of the Syndicate Bank.

Educational Eligibility:
The candidate must have passed and obtained not less than 50% marks (for admission under General, UPS and OBC categories), or 40% marks (for admissions under SC, ST and PH. Categories) in 10+2 examination. Any candidate having compartment/ supplementary in any subject in 10+2 examination is not eligible for admission. Candidates appearing for 10+2 examination can also apply but produce 10+2 pass certificate during Counseling. Pass in English in 10+2 examination is essential for admission in some of the Universities.
