Free BT2020-M.Sc Entrance exam coaching-update

After seeing Mr.Sachin six more Volunteers from Chennai has joined this programme.Details below.

Our esteemed BT2020 reader Mr.Sachin from Madhya Pradesh is willing to extend his expertise and experience for those preparing for M.Sc entrance exams of any Universities in India.May be it should also be helpful for those trying their hands in CSIR-NET/ICMR/ICAR/DBT-BET to some extend.

(This model can be adopted for CSIR-NET or any other PhD entrance preparations in the future if experts in BT2020 network come forward).


Classes:
He has come forward to guide those B.Sc/B.Tech students preparing for M.Sc Biotechnology /Life sciences entrance exams for any Indian University.
We at BT2020, try our best in getting some other volunteers from MKU(Madurai Kamaraj University),IISc ,University of Madras .. who can join hands with Mr.Akilesh.


Timing:
Possibly in all Sundays evening.
1-2 hours.

As he is into his PhD at Chennai, the classes will be held at Chennai.
Depending on the success of the project, it can be taken up online to benefit thousands of students across the country in the future.

Five more Volunteers:
After seeing the above post yesterday, today we have got seven other volunteers as follows,

1)Mr.Sachin:

• He has completed his B.Sc Agricultural Sciences from from Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi VishwaVidyalaya(College of Agriculture), Indore,M.P.,
• M.Sc Plant Biotechnology course from University of Agricultural Sciences (Institute of Agri.Biotechnology),Dharwad,Karnataka which is affiliated to JNU,New Delhi.
• He is currently into his JRF cum PhD programme.
• He has secured AIR-10 (All India Rank) for M.Sc Agri.Biotechnology programme under JNU.AIR-25 for ICAR-JRF examination.
• He has also received PR Verma award for best M.Sc Research in Asian Congress of Mycology and Plant pathology held at Osmania University,Hyderabad,Andhra Pradesh.

2)Mr.KrishnaKumar:

• He is into his final semester PhD in Molecular Biology from University of Madras.
• He has handled classes as guest lecturer for M.Sc (Molecular Biology and Industrial Microbiology) students at University of Madras.
• Worked as JRF at SPIC Science Foundation.
• He is having 5 years of experience as lecturer in Biotechnology at D.G.Vishnava College and Vels college at Chennai.
• He has 3 international and 6 national publications to his credit.

3)Dr.Thangaraja amirthalingam:

• Asst Prof. in Dept. of Biotechnology at Kamaraj college of engineering and Technology (Anna University) in Virudhunagar, Tamilnadu.
• He has 11 years of experiance in teaching Biotechnology.
• His qulaification - MSc., M.Phil., M.Tech., Ph.D.
• He has also recently recruited at BT2020 for his Tamilnadu Government funded project.

4)Dr.K.Jegatheesan:
Dr.K.Jegatheesan has expressed his willingness to coach the students for CSIR preparations. His qualification MSc., M.Phil., M.Tech., Ph.D. Working as Professor in Biotechnology at Kamaraj Engg and Technology with 17 years of experience.

5)Ms.Srivani:

• She has completed Msc in Biomedical genetics from University of Madras.
• Worked as a lecturer in Prof Dhanapalan College teaching post graduates in Biotech and Genetics.
  
• She has been selected now to do PhD in Japan (starting in april 2009) by Indian ministry of Human Resource Development and Japan Embassy in the field of Bionanoscience.
• She is known for getting University First rank througout her academics at University of Madras.
• She did clear all the entrance examinations for MSc admissions.

6)Ms.Revathi Murugesan:

• She holds B.Sc Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University,Vellore and M.Sc Microbial Gene Technology from Madurai Kamaraj University(MKU)-Madurai,Tamilnadu after clearing MKU entrance.
  
• She is now into her PhD at VIT University and also working as Teaching assistant handling B.Tech Biotechnology students.

7)Ms.S.Sushma Padmaja:

• She holds Bsc Biochemistry from Bharathiyar University,Coimbatore
• She holds MSc Biotechnology from Alagappa University,Karaikudi
• She has cleared CSIR-JRF (JUNE 2007)
• She is pursuing Phd at AU-KBC Chennai.

Help us Chennai:
We roughly expect around 20-30 students to enroll and attend(most importantly) for this free coaching.We need some place possibly in an area that is well connected and easily accessible to the rest of the city in Sunday evenings around 1-2 hours.
