Those selected will have the opportunity to do PhD through Cochin Uuniversity of Science & Technology(CUSAT).


Project:
"Monitoring the impact of environmental changes in the Corals of Lakshadweep archipelago by fluorescence imaging (DST-76)."


Qualification:
Essential:
M.Sc in Marine biology or Zoology with first class.

Desirable:
Pass in UGC-CSIR-NET
Preference will be given to candidates having any experience in coral reefs.


Pay:
Rs.12,000/-pm +HRA for first 2 years.
Rs.14,000/-p, +HRA for the third year.


Agelimit:
30 years as on 01 Jan 2008.
5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candiates.
