Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science& Technology, Government of India invites applications for its Bio-informatics Traineeships / Studentship.
DBT has established a nationwide Bioinfo network in the country known as Biotechnology Information System(BTISnet),to accelerate Biotech R&D and industry activities. The Apex Biotechnology Information Centre (BTIC) of this network is situated in the department of Biotechnology to co-ordinate the activities of the BTISnet.
As part of the human resource development activities in Bioinformatics, the BTIC offers 6 month Traineeship/Studentship in Bioinformatics.
Applications are invited for this programme for undertaking advanced training and to carry out project work in Bioinformatics.
Duration:
6 months.
Stipend:
Rs.5000 pm.
Eligibility:
Traineeship:
PG degree/Diploma in Bioinformatics
Stuedntship:
Students doing PG degree /Diploma in Bioinformatics.
