Department of Biotechnology, Mizoram University, Aizawl,will be holding Walk-in interview for the following positions.


1)Post:
Research Associate /SRF


Project:
CSIR Major Research Project entitled “Screening for Insecticidal susceptibility and molecular characterization of Anopheles minimus and Anopheles dirus using RAPD-PCR”.


Eligibility:
RA:
Ph.D degree in Biotechnology/Molecular biology or equivalent. Evidence of research experience in molecular biology techniques is essential from published work

SRF:
First class M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology/Molecular biology or equivalent and two years of post-M.Sc research experience is essential in molecular biology techniques as evidenced from published papers.
CSIR-NET candidates will be given preference.



Duration:
Three years.


Pay:
RA-
Rs.11000/- pm plus HRA as eligible.
SRF-
Rs.9000/- pm plus HRA as eligible


Age limit:
For RA- Below 35 years.
For SRF- Below 32 years.

Directorate of Health Services, Govt. of Mizoram minor research project “Evaluation of Anopheles mosquito breeding habitats and the prevalence of Malaria in Mizoram”.


Eligibility:
Candidates having First class M.Sc. degree in Zoology/ Life Sciences or equivalent;


Duration:
Three years


Pay:
Rs.5000/- pm plus HRA as eligible


Age:
Below 28 years.
