Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology(RGCB) of (Department of Biotechnology), Thiruvananthapuram,Kerala invites applications for the following time bound job opportunity.

Research Associate/Junior Research Fellow


Project:
” Cloning, expression and functional characterization of a cyclin-like protein (CLP-1) from human germ cells”.


Qualification:
RA:
PhD in any branch of Biological Sciences. Hands-on experience in RT-PCR, RACE, gene cloning and protein expression will be desirable.
JRF:
M.Sc in any branch of Biological Sciences with a minimum of 60% marks in all qualifying examinations (10th, 12th, B.Sc and M.Sc). Practical experience in protein isolation and characterization will be an added qualification.


Salary:
RA:
Rs.18,000/-+ 15% HRA/- per month.
JRF:
Rs.12,000/-+ 15% HRA/- per month


Duration:
Two years or till termination of the project (whichever is earlier).
