DBT-Scientist-'B' and 'C' jobs (Absorption and Deputation)

Department of Biotechnology,Government of India invites applications for the following posts of Scientists on absorption or deputation basis from the officers of the Central Government, State Governments, Universities, Public Sector Undertakings and Government Funded Research Organisations or Institutions, who fulfill the requisite qualifications as mentioned below.,

Sl.No.1 : (Absorption)

(a) Name of the Post: 

Scientist ‘C’

 

 

(b) Scale of Pay: 

PB-3  Rs 15600-39100 plus Grade Pay: Rs 6600/-

 

 

 (c) Qulification:

Essential: 

 

(i)M.Sc. or B.Tech or B.E. or its equivalent degree from a recognised University.

(ii) Holding an analogous post on regular basis and

(iii) Minimum five years experience in responsible positions of work in R&D, Management and Administration with a broad perspective of the potential of Biotechnology.

 

Desirable: 

(iv)Ph.D.or M.Tech. or its equivalent degree from a recognised University.

 

Sl.No.2 : (Deputation – National Biotechnology Development Board)

(a) Name of the Post: 

Scientist ‘C’

 

 

(b) Scale of Pay:

PB-3 Rs 15600-39100 plus Grade Pay: Rs 6600/-

 

 

 (c) Qulification:

Essential:

 

(i)M.Sc. or B.Tech or B.E. or its equivalent degree from a recognised University.

(ii) Holding an analogous post on regular basis or

(iii) With five years regular service in posts of pay of PB-3: Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade pay Rs.5400/-.having experience in responsible positions of work in R&D, Management and Administration with a broad perspective of the potential of Biotechnology.

 

Desirable: 

(iv)Ph.D. or M.Tech. or its equivalent degree from a recognised University.

 

 

Sl.No.3 : (Deputation – Biotechnology Information Centre)

(a) Name of the Post:

Scientist ‘B’

 

 

 (b) Scale of Pay:

PB-3 Rs 15600-39100 plus Grade Pay: Rs 5400/-

 

 

 (c) Qulification:

(i) Essential: 

 

M.Sc. or B.Tech or B.E. or its equivalent degree from a recognised University.

(ii)  Holding an analogous post on regular basis or

(iii) With five years regular service in posts of pay of PB-2: Rs.9300-34800 plus Grade pay Rs.4800/-.having experience in R&D, Management and Administration.

 

Desirable: 

(iv) PhD or M.Tech. or its equivalent degree from a recognised University.
