Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Thiruvananthapuram,Kerala invites applications for the following posts.

CSIR sponsored project entitled “Ecology and Behaviour of group-living spiders”.

Qualifications:
For JRF- 
Master’s degree in any area of Biological Sciences with minimum of 55% marks, qualified NET-JRF/LS or GATE (valid qualified score).


For SRF- 
Master’s degree in any area of Biological Sciences with minimum of 55% marks with 
Two years of research experience assessed from published project work or SRF-Direct (CSIR).


For RA- 
Ph.D. in any area of Bioloigcal Sciences and at least 55% marks in M.Sc. Candidates who have submitted a Ph.D. thesis, and yet to be awarded may also apply.
Experience: Familiarity with techniques in ecological research and the aptitude for fieldwork is preferred. 
Some experience with using DNA fingerprinting techniques is a plus.


Duration:
Initial appointment for one year, extendable up to 3 yrs based on performance.

SRF-Direct--18000/- + HRA/- pm
RA-provisional--20000/- + HRA/- pm
RA-- 22000/- + HRA/- pm
