National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM-ICAR), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad invites applications for the following training programme,

Programme:
Training Programme on  “Intellectual Property Rights and Biotechnology”.

Programme content:

• The tool box of IP and various  types of IP rights The international framework for the protection of IP 
• Protection of biotechnology inventions under patent law 
• Databases of technical and patent information in R&D  
• Methods to read, interpret and assess the IP documents 
• PVP systems and the nature of Plant Breeder's Rights (PBR) systems 
• IP as a factor in research and development 
• Negotiation of research contracts with commercial partners 
• Management  and  practical  use  of  IP rights,  including  licensing  and enforcement.

17-23 July  2012

Registration Fee:
Rs.5000/-  (Rupees  five  thousand  only)  per  participant  will  be  charged  for participants from non-ICAR institutes only.
