TNAU Madurai recruits @BT2020-BTech/MSc Biotechnology research job

Department of Plant Breeding & Genetics, AC&RI, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) , Madurai division would like to recruit for the following post through BT2020.

Project:
SERB, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, Government of India funded project on "Engineering transcription factors for drought tolerance in Rice".

Post:
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Qualification:
Essential:
B.Tech/M.Sc./M.Phil. in Agriculture/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Genetic Engineering/Life Sciences from recognized University.

Preferred:
NET/GATE or previous research experience in plant tissue culture, plant transformation and molecular biology techniques is desirable.

Duration:
Three years. The selected candidate should be willing to work at both Madurai and Coimbatore campus of TNAU, for which TA/DA will be provided.

Salary:
As per SERB, DST norms.
