Department of Biotechnology, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, West Bengal invites applications for the following post.

Project:
"Characterization of arsenic oxidizing bacteria from contaminated ground water and their mechanism of arsenite oxidation process for potential application in As - detoxification"

Post:
JRF/SRF/RA

Qualification:
For JRF:
M.Sc in Microbiology/Botany/Biochemistry/Biotechnology with valid NET/GATE/DBT JRF
or
M.Tech. in Biotechnology with valid GATE score
For SRF:
Same as JRF but additional research experience of two years in relevant field is essential
For RA:
M.Tech with minimum three years research experience or Ph D in the relevant field is essential

Salary:
Rs.12,000/- p.m (For JRF)
Rs.14,000/- p.m (For SRF)
Rs.20,000/- pm (For RA)
