Assistant Research Scientist.
Eligibility:
- The candidate shall hold a M.Sc. in Microbiology / Medical Microbiology / Biotechnology with 0-2 yrs experience. The person having skills in handling BSL-2 level microorganisms will be preferred. Knowledge in handling computers, instruments such as Spectrophotometers, liquid handling desirable.
- The candidate will report to the Team Leader responsible for in vitro Microbiology. S/he will work in a team and thus good interpersonal and communication skills are a prerequisite.
Responsibilities:
- The incumbent is required to carry out tasks in Microbiology that are required for different research projects. These include work such as culturing pathogenic organisms, conducting in vitro microbiology tasks such as MIC, MBCs, with knowledge in quantitation.
