First half of each day will consist of lectures and discussions on the basic principles behind molecular biology techniques, their applications, related techniques, and current developments in the field.
The second half will be dedicated solely to hands-on training in various molecular biology techniques, which includes,
- genomic DNA extraction
- plasmid isolation
- restriction digestion
- ligation
- transformation
- DNA amplification by PCR
- protein gel separation
- immuno-blotting
B.Tech /M.Tech/M.Sc/B.sc and those with relevant scientific background seeking basic and advance level molecular biology training.
