BT2020-Banglore & Hyderabad CSIR Readers meet

Following the success of Delhi-CSIR readers meet last year, this year we would like to organise the same in Banglore and Hyderabad.

CSIR-NET exam is round the corner..We at BT2020 wish to help those Bangalore and Hyderabad readers who are in their last minute preparation by making them to interact with some of the expert readers paving a way for greater knowledge sharing and material sharing..

As we are running into our 3 rd class this week and as you might have seen in the video, we had some of our engineering graduates demanding for few classes on GRE preparation too..Though its not possible at present we plan to have few classes on GRE preparation too starting this week depending on the availability of qualified teaching volunteers..

This week we will be having Mr.Sriram handling GRE preparation classes (knowledge sharing session)

Sriram-Bio:
  • He is starting his PhD in Biophysics and Computational Biology at University Of Illinois - Urbana Champaign (UIUC) from this August end.
  • He has just finished his B.Tech Biotechnology(2004-2008) from Anna University-Chennai with a CGPA of 9.3
  • He has scored 1500 in general GRE ( 800 in quants 700 in verbal and 5.5 in AWA ).
  • He has also scored 99% in subject GRE ( Molecular & cellular biology, Biochemistry and Genetics).
  • He has done research projects in Cancer biology, Stem cells and environmental biology.

He will be talking about GRE, advanced GRE & US university admissions.
He will also be sharing his own experience,resources and tips in clearing GRE followed by a question-answer session.

5)Ms.Srivani:
  • She has completed Msc in Biomedical genetics from University of Madras.
  • Worked as a lecturer in Prof Dhanapalan College teaching post graduates in Biotech and Genetics.
  • She has been selected now to do PhD in Japan (starting in april 2009) by Indian ministry of Human Resource Development and Japan Embassy in the field of Bionanoscience.

6)Ms.Revathi Murugesan:

Free BT2020-NET/BET/ICMR Guidance programme

This is in continuation with our earlier article & announcement -Free BT2020-M.Sc Entrance Guidance coaching.

Since we have got 6 eminent tutors from Chennai till date, we plan to conduct CSIR-NET/DBT-BET/ICAR/ICMR-JRF entrance guidance programme simultaneously along with M.Sc/M.Tech entrance guidance programme.

Dr.Thangaraja,( KCET) has referred/helped us to get a free venue at East tambaram-Jagsel Biosolutions..We thank both Dr.Thangaraja and Jagsel for this venue sponsorship.

But many of our readers from different parts of the Chennai city feel inconvenient with the venue .Going by the convenience of our readers we are working hard using our entire network to see if we can get any other free place in the central part of the city..
Hopefully we will be fixing up the venue maximum by this Saturday.

Need volunteers:
We will happy to have few more teaching volunteers from in and around Chennai who will be available on Sundays to conduct classes for both the programmes.
We invite our readers (Chennai) who have cleared CSIR-NET/DBT-BET/GATE/IISc/ICAR/ICMR or any other PhD or MSc entrance examinations & academic professionals who are experienced in handling those classes.
