The University Grants Commission invites applications for the award of scholarship for the year 2007-08 & 2008-09 under the scheme of Award of Post Doctoral Fellowship to schedule caste/scheduled Tribe candidates.
Fellowship:
Rs.12,000/- p.m fixed for 5 years
Contingency:
Rs.30,000/- p.a for five years
Departmental Assistance:
10% of Post-Doctoral fellowship to the host institution.
Escorts/ReaderAssistance:
Rs.2000/- p.m (fixed) in cases of physically disabled & blind candidates.
Eligibility:
The candidate must have a doctorate degree in the relevant subject preferably with published research work to their credit.
