The Department of Biotechnology, Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Biomedical Sciences and Technology, is organising an Internship on “Basics of PCR to Next Generation Sequencing” from 19 December 2026 to 8 January 2027.
The programme is designed to provide participants with practical exposure to fundamental PCR techniques and Next-Generation Sequencing, offering an opportunity to strengthen their understanding of molecular biology and genomic technologies.
The internship will be conducted in offline mode at the Microbial Genomics Lab (Watson Lab), Department of Biotechnology, with sessions scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The programme is limited to 15 slots, providing participants with focused practical learning and laboratory exposure.
This initiative reflects SRIHER’s commitment to strengthening hands-on learning, research-oriented education and practical skills in emerging areas of biotechnology and genomics.
