💃DBT- BioCARe-2026 📢 Deadline Extended -Biotechnology Career Advancement and Re-orientation (BioCARe) Programme for Women Researchers | PhD | MTech | MPharm Life sciences

The last date to apply for the DBT BioCARe Programme has been extended to 8th October.

Eligible candidates who have not yet submitted their application are encouraged to do so at the earliest. This is a valuable opportunity to be part of the DBT BioCARe Programme.

Green Process Engineering Lab at CSIR-IICT would be pleased to extend the necessary institutional support as a Host Institution to eligible Women Researchers interested in pursuing their research through the DBT BioCARe Fellowship Programme.

Key Fellowship Support:

Target Group: 

Unemployed or temporarily employed Indian women researchers up to 55 years old without prior major extramural grants as a PI. Current Ph.D. students and fellowship recipients are excluded.

🔬 Research Grant: 

Up to Rs.60 Lakhs

💰 Fellowship: 

Up to Rs.75,000/month

📅 Duration: 

3 Years

🧬 Research Areas: 

Bioengineering, Environmental Biotechnology, and Agricultural Biotechnology
